Sweet lolitia kimono outfit

For my birthday I want to do a traditional kimono outfit inspired by sweet lolita but not over the top. I'm going to take pictures with my friend Tanya and she is going to be wearing my yellow/gold komon kimono, peach sukura fukuro obi, mint/pink shibori obiage, mint sukura hair pins, pink obi-jime, and gold zori. To buy or to not to buy?

I think it's adorable and i'm considering buying for my birthday to dress me up or my friend....

Okay I bought it & well got into a bidding war over it. Kinda paid too much but I really want to make a cute b-day outfit for myself and there are a lot of cute komon kimono that remind me of sweet lolitia.

^ ^ I'm so happy right now! I just bought some extra kitsuke items for my panel and to play dress up with my friends. I bought a collar stiffner thats plastic and a makura pillow with shipping for only $15! Will wait on obi ita board because well I wasnt supposed to buy any thing kimono related for a while but I need then and they are so cheap!!

Don't you just hate those kimono that are too small?

So I recently fell in love with this kimono that is extremly way too narrow and there is no way in hell its going to fit me. =(
Even though it's so pretty and i've never seen anything like it before. =(
Do you guys think it can be let out or is it not worth my time?

So I decided that I will do a kimono panel at Kintoki Con

My friend Andy, and some of his friends decided that they will be doing a new Anime convention in Sacromento California. Kintoki Con is going to focus more on culture and I think less on anime. ^ ^ Since Andy is my friend I decided to help out my hosting a Kimono Panel at the con! Woot spreading kimono culture to the otuku wolrd!

I'm going to be covering me types of kimono,types of obi's, where to buy kimono and websites that have kimono and geaisha information!

I hope this is a fun and rewearding experance for me!
