Last purchase for quite some time
So I just won this gourgues black dance kimono that's mint for $55 and i'm super excitted!!! It will be my last purchase for a while seeing as I have a lot of kimono and well I need to save money. But I want to wear this baby soon and I'm thinking about wearing it to the Cherry Blossom Festival. I need to cordinate and outfit and i'm just ouber happy since i've been wanting a black kimono for a while know.
Places I would love to visit
So, I would love to explore more Japanese Gardens because I've only been to one and I loved it. Adam took me to the Japanese Tea Gardens in San Fransisco and I loved it sadly I didn't take pictures and I wasn't dressed in Kimono. But when I visit these places I would love to visit them in kimono and take pictures. I want to expand my kimono adventures because I mostly have them at Anime Conventions which I love but I don't want to limit myself at all.

Shiemi from Blue Exorcist
I love this anime and I have decided to cosplay Shiemi! I love her whole look and im going to try to get it as accurate as possiable i THINK I found a good kimono thats close enough color and motif wise. I also bought a cheap lace collar too. <3 Unfortuantly I lost the kimono above but I have two alternative kimono that seem to be Shiemi's style. I also bought the wig and im contmplanting about buying a plushie of her gardien demon spirt.

Kintoki con
So just got back from kintoki con it was great! Very well put togther had a wounderful location great staff & well organized for such a small anime con starting out. Over all I say I had a wounderful time. I did two panels and both turn outs where very small I think I had a total of 8 for both panels combined. I kinda got worried cause they made me sound like an expert which I didn't feel comfterable being called so. I love kimono and I've been into it for years, I've read books and yes I can wear them but I don't know everything! Other then that I was cool with it. I hope people had a good time. ^ ^ I was my dorky sarcastic self & I generaly don't like public speaking & I know I don't have the best social skills in the world. >< Direct eye contact with strangers freaks me out & gives me anxiety but I did the panels to over come my issues. I thinked it helped a bit. I met some really nice people, one a man named Eric a cheif who wants to start making the jointed dolls with paper kimono. Offered me Sushi for my knowldge & help but I'm not quite sure if he was hitting on me (I turned red cause he was very attractive Japanese man). That and a guy suggested that I do twister in kimno because it would be indecent O_0 I totaly got embarrased but went with it cause I knew he was joking but it felt like A comeon. I don't do well with men making the 1st move all I can do is repeatedly stammer I have a boyfriend and turn red in the face. But I was flattered though!
I only remmbered to take pictures of my day one kistuke but forgot to take a picture for today's panel. ^ ^ I dressed my friend Tanya up in my baby blue furisode today & I wore my navy blue houmongi kimono today.

2011 Fanime Madness
So, this is my 5th year attending Fanime and I had a blast! Though I do have a major complant about how Fanime was organized; There where no printed Scheduales avaiable to con goers.... Not cool! Other then that I enjoyed myself. I went vintage and Bold this year with my hair and kimono choices. I even ran into Namoi and Arain, Daniel from Immortal Geshia.com. ^ ^

Cherry Blossom festival San Fransico last day
Had lots of fun on Sunday the last day of the festival but it was way too crowded for my liking. I wore my forest green furisode & orange fukuro obi that day. Though I was having a bad kistuke day, my collars wanted to misbehave & gave everyone a show with my juban on top. Though Adam was very much happy with that something about being disheveled & sexy looking, lol. I love how he just thinks I look so damn good in kimono to him.
Anyways I could only take two pictures that day cause I forgot my camera & hijacked my best friend Tanya's camera. lol

Adam's Juban
So, I love to spoil Adam just a bit <3. ^ ^ I've also wanted to dress up with a male for quite a while & now I have a boy friend who can fit into kimono. <3 He's never worn kimono before so I bought him a juban with a motif I know he will just love! He collects swords as a hobby and I found a very awesome juban with swords as the motif. If all goes well and he likes it I'll invest in more kimono items for him.

Cherry Blossom Festival
=D It was last minute but me & my new boyfriend Adam found out that we could go yesterday to the festival. It was an epic one month benchmark in our relationship! I'm so happy to have a man that loves me in kimono, takes pictures as a hobby, loves Japanese culture as much as I do, is into art & is a psychology major, not to mention smart, funny, sexy, caring, & HOT! :lovelove

For the most part we had a really good time but when we went to the tea ceremony & we where going in I saw a flock of young women come out in kimono & they saw me. As soon as they pass us they started speaking Japanese & laughing.....me & Adam got the impression they where making fun of me. >< When I sat down I looked down and my obiage had fallen :angerburst . >< To say I was embaressed would just be the beginning..... I felt that my skill level was not up to their super proper standards. Then again I did break a lot of formality rules in my outfit not to mention I did not dress for tea ceremony at all. But I did get a lot of positive comments & one of the older ladies in kimono smiled at me so I felt better.
That & I was the only tan person in kimono who was not Japanese. It was kinda sad that I only saw maybe 10 people in kimono. :gah:
Sorry, ladies it was very windy that day & I don't have that much pictures of me in kimono but I do have next sunday to go too.
